MPD Makes Arrest in Mount Pleasant Business Burglary

The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest in a burglary offense that occurred in Northwest.

On Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 2:36 p.m., the suspect forcefully gained entry into the rear door of a closed business in the 3200 block of Mount Pleasant Street, Northwest. The suspect took money and property before fleeing the scene.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 25-year-old Martique Giovanni Henderson, of Northwest, D.C., was arrested and charged with Burglary Two.
